It seems we’re in for a very cold, very snowy, and very looonnng winter. (In other words, an  average winter for MN!)

Travel to and from practice during the next four or five months might prove disagreesble in the extreme. Fortunately, after searching hither and thither for a way to practice remotely without the dreaded latency (delay) inherent in most of today’s available services, we found Lutefish, an Owatonna, MN company who’s created a device that allows us to do just that! So as we each sit in our respective cozy houses, we’re working on polishing our set lists and learning new songs for the new year.

Speaking of the new year, be sure to check out the Upcoming Events page on this Site; we’ll be updating the page as events are booked.

In the meantime, grab a seat by the fire, a cup of cocoa and a good book, and stay warm!

Thanks to all of you who braved the weather and came to the gig yesterday! The mercury never made it out of the 50s and it was quite windy. We hope you enjoyed the first set; sorry we only made it through the second song of the second set, due to a veritable tempest that blew down our banner, scattered most of the crowd, and soaked much of our equipment. Special thanks to Mary Hamann-Roland and the Apple Valley Arts Foundation, as well as special guest Ed Kearney, who brought down the shock & awe in the form of his harmonica playing!

Hello! We're getting ready to play what's currently our last event of the summer, in Quarry Point Park in Apple Valley, MN. (See our Upcoming Shows page.)

After that, it'll be back to Phil's practice studio to learn several new songs for our next gigs. We'll keep you posted.

Also, we hope to have an Instagram page up and running before long. I'll update the status on that in the blog as well. Hope to see you in AV!
